Just The Shadows

We were in Japan in Cherry Blossom Time when a group of us visited in 2007.
One of the many fringe benefits of haiku study is the chance to meet poets from all over the world.
In deep conversation as they stroll under the cherries ahead of me are
(left) Tei Matsushita Scott, a renowned artist, and
Angelee Deodhar, an eye surgeon from India.
They are some of the nicest people I have met anywhere, at any time. jhh
